Football is Coming Home The English football team managed to reach the quarter-finals of the Fifa World Cup, this is finally the year that football comes home for the first time since 1966? While not playing their best football in England are still in the touament and have a great opportunity to lift the trophy. Some might say I'm biased because I am from England and I am a strong supporter in England, but I really feel that 2006 could be the year for our boys in Germany. This can, of course, all blown on Saturday, when the team against Portugal and the big Phil Scolari. Scolari was in charge of the last two teams who have beaten England the last two major touaments, and therefore pose a great danger for my team. He was the manager of the Brazil team that beat England in the 2002 World Cup and has been and still is the director of the Portugal team that beat England in the 2004 European championship. I hope that this will be the third time luck for English this year.To say that England are not yet on board is a little 'cutting a euphemism for they were actually well below par. This could be a good thing, how often are scraped from Germany to the final stage of the touament without exciting the crowds? With Wayne Rooney becoming fitter and stronger this must be the best opportunity that England had a lot of time. There are many potential leaders and teachers of the English team. Players like John Terry, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard will all the worthy masters when David Beckham decided to abandon this role. As captain of the option, these players are what I call the winners and when push comes to hope, you goods.Argentina, Brazil and Germany could prove the greatest of dangers to England. After a slow start, Ronaldo seems to have found his scoring boots again and Brazil, the team has great players all over the park. I am very angry to win, but probably around the time that England played a great football around.Germany on their land and seem to build a head of steam. They could be very difficult to stop and always seems to do good in the world Cup.Many people argue that Argentina could have played the best football so far and are worthy of choice. I have to agree with only the hope and have peaked too soon.It would be a great estate in England, if our football team can bring to the house in which he has done this year.
