National Football League New Rules Rules of the National Football League in 2005
National Football League New Rules Rules of the National Football League in 2005 The National Football League emphasizes new rules every year for the league to get better and better every year. The new rules for this year emphasize the safety of the players more than any other priority. While there are some small changes in rules do not realize there are also some changes that could become widespread in some close match-up this season. The National Football League is trying to protect its players by accessing unnecessary roughness on the edge and the landscape . If a player is hit out of bounds or punched or kicked or anything of that nature, we expect to get out the flags more often in this season. Players can no longer cope with the capture collars and pulling the team down or call a bonus if they are not in a defensive position (or initiate helmet to helmet contact with a football). The players can not commit a personal lack of time after the deadline, if they do, are penalized 15 meters and the team may extend the deadline without a down. The National Football League will also be penalizing coaches and players for not knowing how or time of many challenges they have. If a team tries to call a time or a challenge when you do not have any left will be penalized 15 meters. This could come into play in progress, especially in a close, if a team tries to call a timeout, and is penalized and moved out of field goal range. The official rules of the National Football League in 2005 are listed below.1. ? Players are prohibited from catching the inside collar of the back or side of the shoulder and immediately pulling down the runner. This rule does not apply to a quarterback in the pocket or a runner tackle box. Previously, there was no regulation on the "horse collar" tackle. Penalty: loss of 15 meters. 2nd ? An offensive player who is aligned in the tackle box of the plugin and moving a position outside the box can not contact the sides and below the waist of an opponent if the player is moving towards its end of line . If the near shoulder of the block in contact with the front of the body of his opponent, the "new skin" block is legal. Previously, a player aligned in the table to face an opponent is hit in the face and below the waist from any direction. Penalty: loss of 15 meters. 3rd ? No unnecessary roughness, including unnecessarily running, diving into, cutting, or throwing the body or against a player who is out of work, before or after the ball is dead. Previously, the policy of unnecessary roughness was less specific. 4th ? A football player or walk away the ball after it was chased out of work and should not be unnecessarily contacted the team to receive it until it takes a defensive position clearly. An opponent may not unnecessarily initiate helmet to helmet contact with the kicker / player at any time during the beginning or during the retu. Previously, there was no regulation about contact with a bonus / player kicks the ball, nor about the regulation helmet to helmet contact with the kicker. 5th If, during a scrimmage kick, a player has to play within the receptor 5-yard illegal-line, receiving team may choose to take a Touchback. Previously, the receiving team may choose to take the ball because of the lack, or choose the football team to lose five meters and refurbishing. 6. ? If at the end of the half, the defense commits a dead ball personal guilt, the offense may choose to extend the deadline for the move down and not 15 meters ahead. Previously, a dead ball is unenforceable after the expiration time. 7th The "free zone" is now defined as extending the normal tackle position on each side of the center and extends backwards to the offense of their own end line. Previously, there were two defined pocket areas. The first is the address to address and was considered only for intentional grounding. The second extends from tight end to tight end and was considered illegal contact. 8th ? If for any reason, the clock stops to play with less than 10 seconds to re-set to 10 seconds. Previously, if the clock has stopped playing for the add, was to reconfigure automatically 25 seconds. 9th ? For the following offenses called during a football game, the offended team has the right to accept the penalty of repeating the point or the penalty of adding Yardage (five meters) near the end of the play: ineligible player field, punting team member voluntarily out of bounds, illegal formation, illegal motion; player not reporting change in eligibility; offensive offside; change illegal. Previously, the offended team could decline the penalty or accept a further decline and a loss of five meters. 10? An attempt to call an excess or illegal time-out to "freeze" a bonus before a field goal attempt or a PAT will be considered unsportsmanlike conduct. Previously, officials were instructed to ignore attempts and no penalty assessed. Penalty: loss of 15 meters. 11th ? A team that is out of time or have all their problems could not have tried to initiate an additional challenge. Penalty: loss of 15 meters. Previously, there was no penalty for attempting to initiate an excess challenge. 12? A player or an official is out of bounds when playing more than just a player, official or a pylon or outside a boundary line. Previously, officials outside a boundary is considered out of bounds. This change mainly refers to cases in which the players running along the secondary contact officials at the border.
